Scott Meneilly – Director and CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Scott’s passion for sushi began over 3 years ago when appointed as CEO of Sushi Sushi and he recently facilitated the sale of the business in 2019. Scott, under the new ownership, continues to provide executive leadership of the development and execution of Sushi Sushi’s vision and values while maximising expansion opportunities and navigating the ever-changing retail environment. His focus includes Sushi Sushi’s drive of profitable growth through innovation while ensuring excellence every day in every part of Sushi Sushi for the customers of today and the future.

Olivia Elsley – COO (Chief Operations Officer)
Olivia joined Sushi Sushi over 3 years ago and uses both her extensive operational knowledge, international expansion experience and sushi training to lead on daily experiences and drive strategic growth. Olivia oversees and develops the operational functions to enhance the customer experience from store locations to store designs; Olivia focuses on the best outcomes for franchisees and Sushi Sushi in the everyday mastery of our products.

Gavan Meadows – General Manager (Franchise Sales and Commercial Partnerships)
Gavan has driven the journey of Franchisees and Commercial Partnerships as a General Manager at Sushi Sushi for the last five years. He oversees and develops Sushi Sushi franchising expansion and commercial relationships with key business partners. In particular, the last twelve months have seen Gavan enhance our customers’ choice of locations for our grab and go products.

Leo Liu – Franchise Business Consultant
Beginning his retail career in the UK while completing his Business Administration studies, Leo joined Sushi Sushi two years ago as a Franchise Business Consultant. His experience in operations includes training restaurant/store managers/Franchisees while launching new stores within new interstate markets. As no two days are the same in retail operations; Leo relishes new challenges and enjoys guiding his Franchisees to business success.

Brooke Rodger – General Manager (Operations and Marketing)
Brooke joined Sushi Sushi as a specialised consultant however loved the growth and imagery of Sushi Sushi which resulted in her joining the leadership team as General Manager of Operations and Marketing. Brooke drives business performance through the implementation of sales growth strategies and productivity improvements within stores; which includes the alignment of company brand, image and customer standards within Sushi Sushi both in store and online.
Favourite thing about being part of Sushi Sushi: Franchisees and team members grow and develop, in particular when they step up to a challenge and surprise themselves with what they’re capable of achieving.

Leslie Chan – Head of Food Innovation and Training
Recently, Leslie joined Sushi Sushi as Head of Food Innovation and Training and has been working in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years. This includes both domestic and international experience with openings and training. His passion is always to promote Asian cuisine and constantly engages with fellow professionals in hospitality which has resulted in over 15 Gold Medals awarded to Leslie for culinary competitions. Within his role at Sushi Sushi, Leslie specialises and is responsible for developing the food innovation process with creating new on-trend products and training.

Jamie Stewart – National Operations Manager
Jamie is the National Operations Manager and has been with Sushi Sushi for over four years. Jamie overseas both Company and Franchise Operations and Training. Jamie’s background in operations includes overseeing operational roles, including working at his prior company in Vietnam. Jamie’s passion within operations and training is growing franchise businesses to be profitable and successful.
Favourite thing about being part of Sushi Sushi: Being able to support Franchisees growth and reaching their goals. He loves being part of a team member’s journey from starting as Artisan, working towards a Manager role then achieving their dream of becoming a Franchisee.
