Stephen Anders – Director and CEO
Stephen’s dedication to sushi began 4 years ago when he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. During his time as CFO Stephen was instrumental in driving financial stability and growth for the business especially during the global pandemic.
In his role as CEO, Stephen is focused on leading the business through its next evolution. He is passionate about supporting our franchise network and being a true partner that helps to drive success at all levels. Stephen is a values lead leader with a commitment to retail excellence and inspiring our customers with best-in-class product and service.
Stephen brings to the business a wealth of retail and FMCG experience. He has held numerous executive positions spanning strategy, supply and finance roles with Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, Carlton & United Breweries and Treasury Wine Estates.

Whether it’s supporting a Franchise Partner to achieve their goals, talking to our engaged customers, collaborating with our teams in store or support office, it’s the people I see each day that drive and inspire me.

Gavan Meadows – General Manager (Commercial Partnerships)
Callum Mackay – Chief Development Officer
As a positive, creative and energetic executive, Callum’s experience has been gained in executing operational strategies, ensuring seamless business processes and driving strategic growth within market leading brands.
Callum has extensive operational expertise and international expansion experience across diverse franchise and company structures encompassing a large global footprint. What truly drives Callum is the ability to foster strong relationships and guide teams towards accomplishing exceptional outcomes collaboratively.
His previous roles include General Manager at Boost Juice where he was responsible for an international network of over 350 stores across 20 countries.
Callum also held various positions at 7-Eleven Australia including State Business Development Manager where he led the company’s expansion of both standalone convenience stores and fuel stores into Western Australia.

Jamie Stewart – Director of Operations
Jamie is the Director of Operations and has been with Sushi Sushi for over 8 years. Jamie oversees both Company and Franchise Operations along with Learning and Development. Jamie’s expertise is in operations and business development, including overseeing operational roles within large brands such as McDonalds. His expertise has international applications, with having worked in Vietnam with McDonalds and also setting up Sushi Sushi in New Zealand
Jamie is a seasoned professional with a talent for optimising operations and fostering high-performing teams. With a proven track record in strategic planning, process enhancement, and cross-functional execution, Jamie can help drive business growth. Jamie’s true passion within operations and training is growing franchise businesses to be profitable and successful.
Favourite thing about being part of Sushi Sushi: Being able to support Franchisees growth and reaching their business goals. He loves being part of a team member’s journey from starting as Artisan, working towards a Manager role then achieving their dream of becoming a Franchisee.

Debbie – Chief Supply Chain Officer
Debbie joined Sushi Sushi over 4 years ago as Chief Supply Chain Officer and brings over 20 years’ experience across a range of industries including QSR, FMCG, Manufacturing and Business Consulting.
In her role as Chief Supply Chain Officer, Debbie is responsible for both domestic and international supply chains and growing product revenue streams. Debbie has held positions spanning strategy development, strategic sourcing and end to end supply chain management having held executive positions at both Soul Origin and Retail Zoo.
Debbie is passionate about supporting our Franchisees to deliver great quality ingredients to our customers, executing business strategies and developing high calibre teams.
