Sushi Sushi is widely beloved in Australia, with more than 140 locations open in shopping centres and high streets across the country. To capitalise on the enormous demand and popularity of sushi, Sushi Sushi has developed three distinct business models to expand the scope of opportunity for our franchise partners.

The benefits of having three business models are enormous: it allows entrepreneurs easier access into business ownership, it allows entrepreneurs to choose the type of business they want based on their experience, budget and opportunity in their market, and it also provides a far more streamlined path towards multi-unit ownership and expanding their profit-potential.

Traditional Kiosk Model

The Sushi Sushi kiosk is our original model and makes up the majority of our locations. Designed for shopping centres, this model serves the lunch crowds for dining in the common areas or takeaway. All of the food is prepared on-site and only requires a small number of staff for preparation of menu items, customer service, and day-to-day management.

In-Line Store Model

This is our largest, most intensive model, and it offers many advantages. For starters, it provides the most profit-potential, as it gives you a full dining room that can serve between 20-30 people, as well as the takeaway option. This model prepares all food on-site, and it requires a small number of staff to ensure that the store is operating effectively.

Yatai Model (Cart)

Our newest model is also the most revolutionary. Our carts require one person to operate and sell a limited number of products to customers where there is heavy foot traffic in shopping centres. There is zero food preparation required, as all of the food will be prepared at a nearby Sushi Sushi location. This model is also the least expensive and requires the least amount of training.
